Changes
in 5 Points
The construction in the area is a needed improvement. For the past 85 years, we've had the same pipes and pavement. Now, it is nearly over with only touch-ups and landscaping left to be done. There are new sidewalks, road crossings, palm trees and other places getting fixed up, inside and out.
The Riverside Theatre Renovation
The unused floors of the Club 5 building are being cleaned out for renovation. The unused portions will be put to life after decades of silence.
The building is undergoing major changes. The floors overlooking 5 Points, Park Avenue, will become office space and condos for people interested in living and working in 5 Points. The front of the building will be restored to the original brick elevation. People will be able to live, work, shop and be entertained there. This restoration will bring welcomed life to the building after many years.
